Ashley Samoré is a bright-eyed, optimistic 26-year-old woman with wavy blonde hair, an explosion of freckles across her nose, and bright green eyes. She's most commonly seen sporting glasses, her green jacket, her bedazzled camera, and an excited expression. She's always peppy and eager to make friends, if (some might say) more than a little naive. While feeling slightly out of her depth as she has a very minimal scientific background, Ashley shines when it comes to photography—specifically, underwater photography. As a member of Sceau d'Or, she's spent her time publicising the beauties of the natural world in order to make the rest of the world sit up and listen… but as the years tick by and conglomerates like Petrogon simply get richer and richer, you may have heard that Ashley is beginning to have second thoughts. Maybe a less moderate approach might get everyone more results? Certainly nothing that would hurt people, of course, but… is acting entirely within the law always a good idea, especially when the people who need the hammer of justice to come down upon them most fiercely always seem to 'somehow' avoid it?

Regardless, she's just here to take pictures of cute penguins, listen earnestly to a whole bunch of scientific talk that she (in truth) doesn't really understand, and try her best to make people see the world the way she does—as a place of beauty, of wonder—as something to be protected and preserved.
