Andrei Vladislavlevsky is a young Russian physicist and paranormal researcher from Moscow, working for Unit 871 under the JCP. He is instantly recognisable from his tall, gaunt figure, thin black hair and beard, and unyielding habit for chainsmoking. Most would find Andrei a somewhat disagreeable person: he is rude, abrupt, evasive, and distrustful of any who diverge from his personal politics, a staunch loyalty to his country and to the scientific profession. Needless to say, he has made few friends in his time here. But his abilities as a physicist are undeniable—he is an expert in his field—and he has already taken a leading role in research at APERIS.
