For each of the [[Sample Characters]], we have written a sample Turnsheet, which is intended as an example of how one might go about writing a Turnsheet. ===== Sample Turnsheet 1: Factions & Research=====
This example shows [[sample_characters#example_1|Beatrice]], a [[Sceau d'Or]] field researcher, supporting her faction by collecting research data.

===Goal==

I want to carry out research on the ice and water around APERIS.

===Description==

  - Survey the ice shelf, taking scientific readings and samples for further investigation.
  - Spend some time diving beneath the ice to take more readings in the water below. If needed, ask Guy Drivers to borrow equipment or for advice for diving in Antarctica.
  - File a report to Sceau d'Or HQ detailing the state of Antarctica, with suggestions of how it could relate to the anomalous activity.

===== Sample Turnsheet 2: Departure Protocol=====
This example shows [[sample characters#example_2|Shi Liu]], a [[Unit 871]] paranormal investigator, choosing to temporarily leave APERIS.

===Goal===

Take a temporary leave from APERIS for medical evaluation. I will escort Liu Lian's malfunctioning UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) back to Moscow for inspection and return within a month.

===Description===
After months of headaches and sleepless nights, the med-tech recommended I take a temporary leave to observe my condition. Director Liu agreed, but on the condition that I escort Unit 871's broken unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) back to Moscow and explain why half of them stopped responding mid-flight. 

I will:

  - Arrange transport of damaged UAV units and necessary documentation back to Moscow, with the aid of Nikolai.
  - Undergo the prescribed neurological evaluation and debrief at the Commission medical facility.
  - Find out the reasons for my persistent migraines and insomnia, and see if they are caused by Antarctic anomalies or are simply stress-induced.
  - Request a full report from the Commission’s medical staff on their findings---I want to know what drugs I can take to suppress them.

   * Request updated briefings and archives from Nikolai before returning to the field so that I know what's going on in APERIS during my leave.
   * My Feng Shui compass has been behaving erratically: the needle doesn’t point north anymore. I’ll bring it back for inspection to determine whether this is permanent damage. If broken, I’ll seek a replacement.

My character still insists the problems are purely psychological. They're also writing a 30-page paper on it. Alas, correlation ≠ causation, it is probably just fatigue. (It's not.)

===== Sample Turnsheet 3: Personal Storyline =====
This example shows [[sample_characters#example_3|Antoine]], a [[BGA]] archivist, investigating an anomaly that has been haunting him recently.

===Goal==

Investigate the strange whistling noise that can only be heard at night near the APERIS station.

===Description===
Antoine can't bear it any longer. He has to know what this sound is, even if it means going out alone. He can't sleep or even think at night anymore. 

1) Come nightfall, he will equip himself with the relevant gear (flashlights, sufficiently warm clothes, flares and anything else deemed reasonable and carryable etc), and wander in the direction of the noise.\\
2) He will also bring a recorder, to try to capture the noise, and prove its existence to everybody.\\
3) He has told Anya Collins about his plans. She didn't believe him, but she seemed scared at the look in his eyes.\\
